Long Beach Bail Bondsman

Long Beach Police Department is one of the largest city jails within Los Angeles County because of the volume of inmates housed here. Due to the heavy arrestee traffic, they typically have a longer booking and release processes, as compaired to smaller city jails.

Normally, when someone is arrested, they are not completely booked in for a minimum of 6 hours. After this process has been completed, they become eligible for release based on their charges. When you arrive at the police department, you can park anywhere that’s marked “public parking”.

We will meet you in the lobby, which is located in the front of the building, and where we ‘re going to submit our bond and wait for the jailer to approve our paperwork. Once they have accepted our bond, the release process will begin, which, on an average day can take about 1 – 2 hours. If the jail is particularly busy that day it could exceed 3 hours.

When the defendant is released from custody, they will be released from the jail location, which is 3 blocks away from the police department, on the corner of Chestnut and Broadway. There is an underground ramp where they are actually released from, so you can wait near the ramp for them to walk out, but it is recommended that you not block the ramp.
